SRNE SAA 50A MPPT Dual DC-DC Solar Charge Controller

The SRNE SAA 50A MPPT is a high-efficiency dual-input solar charge controller, designed to charge an auxiliary (house) battery directly from both solar panels and the vehicle alternator. Engineered for motorhomes, campervans, boats, and off-grid power systems, it offers intelligent energy management, advanced charging control, and excellent reliability.

This innovative controller automatically charges the backup battery from the alternator when the starter battery voltage rises above 13.7V, and stops when it drops below 13.2V, ensuring safe and efficient alternator charging. Its MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology and buck-boost DC-DC conversion deliver up to 98% efficiency, optimising power usage from every energy source.

The SAA 50A MPPT supports multiple charging modes — solar charging, alternator charging, combined solar and alternator charging, and even solar charging of the starter battery. It’s compatible with a wide range of batteries, including Sealed (AGM), Gel, Flooded (vented), and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) types. Customisable charging parameters allow you to tailor performance to your specific setup.

Designed for energy efficiency, it consumes just 0.6W in standby mode. When connected bluetooth, you can access real-time system data, historical logs, and parameter settings via the SRNE mobile app for complete control and monitoring.

This versatile unit also integrates the charging advantages of Utility, PV, and Alternator sources, offering up to seven common charging modes. It features polyphase synchronous rectifier voltage-lifting design, Modbus and CAN-Bus (RV-C) communication support, and a compact, durable build ideal for demanding off-grid environments.
